Futura Mobility partners with MobileIron to offer mobile security and management services
August 6, 2012 (Philadelphia) -- Futura Mobility, a leading enterprise provider of end-to-end mobile technology solutions, has partnered with MobileIron, a leader in security and management for mobile apps, content and devices, to offer mobile management and security services to its clients. The integrated offering will enable Futura Mobility customers to manage, support and scale multiple mobile devices and apps safely and securely.
“With the rapid adoption of mobile and the increasing popularity of ‘Bring Your Own Device’ (BYOD) policies in the healthcare and enterprise marketplace, we felt it was critical to offer our customers the ability to manage these platforms in an effective and secure way,” said David Gulian, CEO of Futura Mobility. “MobileIron is at the forefront of mobile security and authentication, and we are thrilled to offer their robust management tools to our network of more than 2,500 healthcare and enterprise customers.”
Leveraging MobileIron’s centralized management platform, Futura customers will now have the ability to connect both corporate and individual Smartphones to enterprise resources, including Wi-Fi, without compromising sensitive corporate information or personal privacy. The collaboration will facilitate an end to end solution when combined with Futura’s Mobile Force software suite and comprehensive services.
The partnership also enables Futura’s clients to control costs associated with managing multiple operating systems and devices. The centralized management platform allows organizations to easily track, manage, and, most importantly, secure a broad range of wireless phones and tablets on all the major mobile operating platforms, including Android, iOS and Blackberry.
“Today’s CIOs are tasked with the increasingly complex job of protecting the security of their organizations’ mobile devices and apps, while still offering the flexibility to access corporate information from a personal device,” said Ojas Rege, VP Strategy, MobileIron. “MobileIron was built specifically to address these challenges, and we are pleased to partner with an industry leader like Futura Mobility to expand our offerings in the healthcare and enterprise mobility space.”
