iPad medical documentation apps

h11art_ids

Two new iPad point-of-care applications from IDS allow care providers to convert their paper forms to electronic, tablet-based documents for easier and faster data entry, review and authentication of patient encounters. AbbaDox eForms, an electronic patient encounter tool, mimics standard paper-based patient forms. Providers enter data into secured forms that are live on the Web using the iPad’s touch-screen interface. Mobile AbbaDox for iPad, a work-flow and eSignature application, enables physicians to review and sign reports, listen to original voice dictations and scroll through various encounter work-flow bins.

Migrate DICOM and beyond

Enterprise Data Migration (EDM) Services can help move your operation beyond first-generation PACS systems and consolidate, integrate, manage and migrate all associated large-scale data sets. Healthcare imaging data and associated content have long been generated at a rapid rate in radiology in DICOM format, but other formats are emerging in the cardiology domain. This EDM solution sees the world as a multi-format arena servicing 24 specialties or more and aims to deliver an electronic health record that incorporates the entire continuum of patient information while also coping with data migration from proprietary PACS systems. Programmable physician-sensitive scheduling and comprehensive, continuous reporting are also included.

Clinician-centered EHR

Unlike some conventional EHRs that might require more work than existing paper records, Cosalient Electronic Health Record streamlines work flow for busy operating rooms. The solution is true WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) on screen and in the final document, reducing worry about what is actually in the medico-legal documentation. The system adapts to a wide variety of document formats. Drag and drop a PDF to create a new electronic form in seconds. The current release focuses on the operating room with special emphasis on anesthesia and PACU.
