HMT The MultiSync LCD2690WUXIBKSV from NEC is a 26-inch widescreen flat-panel monitor that incorporates several innovative display technologies including: IPS LCD module technology for color applications; ColorComp, a uniformity and correction technology designed to reduce brightness errors and compensate for differences in color and luminance; and, the new X-Light Pro technology which allows for immediate brightness stability and continuous monitoring and adjustment of light output levels and color temperature. The LCD2690 also features the SpectraViewII Color Calibration Solution for consistent and repeatable color performance and a black level adjustment control. The display is capable of 1920x1200 native resolution and provides an 800:1 contrast ratio. DVI-D, DVI-I and VGA inputs supply a range of connectivity options. The unit's pivoting stand also allows for landscape or portrait orientation. NEC offers a 4-year parts and labor warranty that also covers the backlights.

Medical-grade LCD Display

HMT The 21-inch LMD-2140MD LCD monitor from Sony is configured principally for video endoscopy applications and meets healthcare safety and EMC standards and requirements. The monitor incorporates a high-clarity, a-Si TFT Active Matrix LCD panel that provides 450 cd/m2 brightness, 30ms response time, and 16.7 million colors. The display features 1024x768 resolution, and a 400:1 contrast ratio in 4:3 aspect ratio format. A multi-layer AR-coated protection film minimizes damage from scratches to the panel and also reduces reflection of ambient light. An interlaced/progressive conversion technology using Sony's x-Algorithm technology combines pixels above, below, and in the diagonal direction of moving images for smoother reproduction for both moving and static areas of the displayed image. A user memory feature allows up to 20 patterns of memory settings to be saved, including color temperature, brightness, gamma, and aperture.

Dual LCD Monitor Mounting Device

HMT The Visidec Freestanding Double horizontal LCD computer monitor mounting solution from Atdec mounts two 12- to 24-inch flat-panel widescreen LCDs side-by-side and supports a maximum weight of 25.3 lbs. per display. The display mount suits 3-inch x 3-inch and 4-inch x 4-inch mounting hole patterns. Distance from center of pole to rear of display is 4 13/16-inches; maximum height to center of display is 17 11/16-inches. The mounting solution features horizontal and vertical adjustments as well as a +/- 40-degree angular adjustment, portrait/landscape rotation, built-in cable management and a small 15-inch x 12-inch footprint. Medical Imaging Monitor

HMT The C-s 3-D medical imaging display from SeeReal allows for complete freedom of movement. An integrated tracking system allows the viewer to move naturally while working without loss of the 3-D effect. The display provides 3-dimensional viewing without the need for special glasses. The monitor uses siTFT/PVA technology with the 18.1-inch LCD screen, supplies 250 cd/m2 brightness, a 500:1 contrast ratio and 25ms response time. The display provides 1280x1024 resolution, and 16.7 million colors. Video inputs include DVI-D (digital) and RGB D-sub (analog).

LCD Monochrome Display

HMT Specifically designed for digital medical imaging, the Fimi MML2152 is a 5 megapixel, 21.3-inch monochrome TFT AM LCD display that integrates an internal 10-bit lookup table making it fully compliant with the DICOM 3.14 grayscale display standards. The display provides 2048x1536 lines of QSXGA native resolution at 750 cd/m2 max brightness and a 600:1 contrast ratio. Typical display response time is 35ms and viewing angle is 85-degrees; both portrait and landscape orientations are possible. Inputs include DVI-D, RS232, and two USB-B inputs.

New LCD Line

HMT ViewSonic is adding two new models to its line of LCD monitors, the 20-inch VX2055wmb/wmh and 22-inch VX2255wmb/wmh. Both include a bezel-mounted 1.3 megapixel Webcam and microphone. The widescreen LCD monitors display 1680x1050 high-definition resolution with 5ms response time, up to 300 cd/m2 brightness and up to a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Video inputs include RGB analog, VGA, and digital through DVI-D. A built-in ergonomic base supplies 3.2-inches of height adjustment, 360-degree swivel and tilt. Two 2-watt stereo speakers are built-in to the rear of the monitor and full Windows Vista compatibility is assured. ViewSonic offers a 3-year limited warranty on the LCD, parts and labor. 3-D Display

HMT The Siemens SXD3 1899 is an 18-inch 3-D color flat panel screen that displays three-dimensional images without the need for special viewing aids like 3-D glasses or shutters. Viewers can move within the large 3-D presentation area and can distinguish one object in front of or behind another. A 170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle allows multiple viewers sight of the active matrix display. Resolution of the landscape-oriented, non-interlaced display is full-format SXGA, and enables analog-VGA-interfacing. The 3-D display includes LED indicators, keypad, and on-screen displays for function output control.

HD LCD Monitor

HMT The Sharp PN-465U 46-inch LCD monitor is a new screen size for display applications and digital signage that operates in both landscape and portrait mode. With true 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, the monitor provides 2-megapixel, 1920x1080 native High Definition resolution from digital RGB, analog RGB and HD video sources, a 600:1 contrast ratio and 500 cd/m2 brightness. Displaying 16.7 million colors, the Black TFT/Bright Pixel Elimination feature renders any pixel failure that occurs virtually invisible to the viewer. LCD Surgical Display

HMT The Barco MDSC-1119 advanced color LCD is a 19-inch multi-modality display designed principally for surgical applications such as endoscopic and OR cameras, boom camera and cardiology applications, and also serves as a patient information display. The monitor's video bus architecture and modular slot allow the display to be configured to specific OR video connectivity requirements and dual channel picture-in-picture or picture-by-picture features provide views of images from multiple input signals. With 1.3 megapixel, 1280x1024 resolution, the TFT AM LCD displays a 700:1 contrast ratio, up to 300 cd/m2 brightness, and a total viewing angle of 178 degrees. A DVI-I input is joined by a host of analog video inputs. Medical Desktop Touchmonitor

HMT Tyco Electronics Corp. offers the 1928L medical touchmonitor from Elo TouchSystems that pairs a 19-inch active matrix TFT LCD display with IntelliTouch and AccuTouch touchscreen technology. The touchmonitor display offers a 1280x1024 resolution at a 1300:1 contrast ratio and is completely sealed by an IPX1 enclosure making it safe from liquid drops and spills. Mini D-Sub 15-Pin VGA type and DVI-D connectors provide for video signal input and built-in 2 watt/channel speakers located in the display head provide audio. On-screen display lockouts for power and user controls are included, and a 5-second power-down delay function prevents accidental power shut down.
